The 7th Training Camp of EYP Ukraine — is a unique educational event for young people from and out the EYP network. The event will be held in a beautiful city in the South of Ukraine — Chernivtsi, between the 10th and the 13th of November, 2023. It will gather around 50 participants from all over Ukraine to learn and grow together. Participants have the opportunity to choose, select and leave modules as they wish, according to their own individual development preferences.

Training camp is a non-formal educational project that encompasses several tracks on different topics. The tracks mainly focus on such topics as NGO Management and Active citizenship in Youth Organisations, Event Management, Media and Photography, and Team Management. The program of the training will be a strong foundation for future and current officials of EYP events. It will help every trainee to become more confident in EYP environment as an organiser, chairperson or media team member. Here are more info about the four tracks that we propose you to experience:

Event Management: It involves a systematic approach to planning, organising, and conducting various events. Participants in this area acquire budget planning, marketing, logistics, communications, and risk management skills, which contribute to the successful implementation of various projects.

Team Management: Focuses on the ability to lead a group of people to achieve a common goal. Participants in this program learn how to develop leadership skills, communicate effectively, assign responsibilities, motivate a team, resolve conflicts, and evaluate progress, helping to strengthen the team and achieve excellent results.

Media and Photography: Participants in this group learn modern PR and SMM techniques, including social media management, graphic design, photo & video editing, and filming. These skills empower individuals and organisations to communicate more effectively, reach a broader audience, stay competitive in an ever-evolving online world, and actively share impactful values using social media resources.

Management of non-governmental organisations: Participants in this program acquire practical skills in financial accounting, international project coordination, and public relations necessary for managing youth organisations, using the example of the European Youth Parliament as a case study. With this knowledge, they can pursue careers in the European Youth Parliament or apply their expertise successfully in other non-governmental organisations.

Our camp will be conducted in a dynamic offline format, providing participants with the invaluable opportunity for face-to-face interactions and immersive experiences. Our main mission and goal for the 7th Training Camp revolve around fostering self-development amidst challenging times of war.
